Crocs Outrage

This article about making Crocs stop on Newsweek.com is one of the funnier ones I've read recently. Still, has anyone addressed the need to recycle these things on a corporate level? I can't seem to find a like-minded comment out there.

Funny, it was actually at your wedding that I saw crocs for the first time and somebody explained to me what they were. My theory was that they would never catch on in NYC because of all the dog crap on the sidewalk, and those big holes they have in them, which do not go together like peanut butter and chocolate. And yet, I've seen them a few times here.

I just noticed on someone's page the Facebook group "I Dont care How Comfortable Crocs Are, You Look Like A Dumbass." I clicked through, and it has just shy of a *million* members. OK, back to regularly scheduled program.

There was actually an episode from "The Celebrity Apprentice" devoted to getting people to recycle their old crocs.
